Building a brand is not just about having an eye catching logo or a top of the range showroom, a brand is a combination of all of these things plus many more and can make or break a business.

Creating a brand starts as soon as you have an idea for a business, you need to consider who your target customers are and create a product or service that they will want or need.

It is important to be consistent in your company branding, i.e. the website, logo, signage and even uniform should all match to reinforce your values. When creating a strap line or slogan, ensure that it is short and to the point and that you use it wherever possible.

When looking at your members of staff, be sure to keep them involved in branding, make sure that they believe in what they are selling and have the knowledge to do so, this will give your customers trust in your business.
