What does your branding say about your business?

A brand is a very important part of building up a business. You need to think carefully about what your brand is and how you can promote it. A brand is made up of a number of things, from visual such as your premises, your logo and uniforms down to the messages you get across in your products, services and website.

When it comes to websites you need to ensure that it represents your brand. For example, if you want to promote the fact that your products are handmade, is this shown obviously throughout the site? Do you using the wording handmade and bespoke, and do you reiterate why that makes your company special?

If you offer personalised products, make a point of stating why it is nice to be able to give someone an item that has been specifically made for them. If you offer a range of designs then you can promote the fact that they can choose a design that matches the person’s personality and interests.

Be sure to follow your branding throughout all your marketing online or offline, for consistency and to build up awareness of your brand. This will make people more inclined to use you.
