A logo is an important part of any business. It is often one of the first things that people see when having contact with your business and can be the first impression they have.
When it comes to designing a logo it is not as easy as you may think. Some people think that you can just steal an image off Google and use it as your logo but this is not allowed as images are copyrighted. Also you may find that your logo isn’t good enough quality to be used on larger prints. All graphics that have been created by someone else are covered by a standard copyright law which, although you may be allowed to use for personal use, will not allow you to use them for commercial purposes.
You need to use a proper graphic designer to create a logo for you as they should be able to give it to you in a number of different formats that you may need to use. If the image is in a JPEG format then you will find if you enlarge it too much it will become pixilated and unusable. If you are unsure, always confirm with the designer that the logo will be supplied in a Vector format or EPS as well as Jpeg so you can use it when necessary.
