Some companies had to reduce their marketing or put it on hold due to the Covid-19 pandemic. If they were not able to trade then marketing may of seemed pointless or it may have been that they had to reduce their outgoings as much as possible to see through these difficult times. With the latest government announcement, England is set to start to come out of lockdown over the next few months. This will start with the schools reopening on the 8th March and then a slow lifting of other restrictions. Hopefully by then end of June, most if not all restrictions will be lifted and life can return to some sort of normality. In readiness for this, you may want to start to ramp up your marketing again. This may include restarting your blog or SEO or tuning your PPC campaigns back on. You may decide that you don’t want to restart your PPC campaigns just yet but can use this time to update and improve them. The companies that succeed the most are the ones that go the extra mile to ensure that they are in a great place to pick up from and invest time and money early.
