Using infographics in your marketing

Infographics are a way of presenting information in a graphical form rather than just using paragraphs of text. The idea is that the infographic gives the viewer enough information to get them interested without being too wordy or clutters.
Some businesses try to put far too much content into an infographic and end up losing the potential they have to work.
Only include the most important information in your graphic and be sure to design it in such a way that it can be used on multiple platforms such as on your website and social media sites. Infographics have a lot of sharing potential so you want to make it stand out for the right reasons and give people a reason to want to share it with others.
Don’t forget that search engine crawlers (sometimes also called spiders) cannot read the text that is within an image so it is important to add alt text etc to give the search engines information about what the graphic is representing.
A good design agency will often be able to create a number of infographics for you to use on different media’s. Be sure to tell them what you need to convey through the graphic and make sure that it does that before distributing it across the network.
