As a business owner you should be aware of the importance your how your brand is perceived. If your brand builds up a bad reputation then you will often notice a very quick knock on effect on your enquiries and sales. With the likes of social media and review sites it is very easy for someone to pass comments on your company and if you ignore these then you may risk losing a lot of your business.
Having a bad reputation can literally bring your business down over night. Of course, one bad comment may not make all that much difference but a number of them can. Often it has a lot to do with how you handle any issues that come up and showing that you notice there is an issue and are addressing it can make up for any bad reputation that you may start to get.
Keep an eye out for any comments made in person or online etc that are not positive. Take the time to investigate the situation and ensure that it is fully resolved. If this is online, you may want to comment to say how sorry you are to hear of the bad experience someone has and ask if you may contact them direct.
